During his last concert Drake offered to pay a fan’s mortgage

Drake’s generosity knows no limits.

During the last stage of the It’s All A Blur — Big As The What? Tour, the rapper offered to pay a fan’s mortgage.

On Saturday (March 2) Drake performed at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, MO, and during the show he learned that a fan needed help paying the mortgage on his parents’ house. He read a note he received on stage and asked the fan in question for clarification

Is your mother dead? Oh, this is the outstanding mortgage balance? That’s a lot of money but you know what? I will pay your entire mortgage for you. It’s 160 thousand dollars but I’ll pay it out of my own pocket”.

This is just the latest gesture of generosity to occur during Drake’s tour.

In early February, during a show in Steel City, Drake spent about three-quarters of the show urging his audience to hug random people, because you never know what someone is going through. He then noticed a sign in the audience that read “your music accompanied me during my fight against cancer”, and he promised to give the author of the sign $50,000.

The week before, the Toronto rapper was in Nashville with J. Cole for their joint It’s All a Blur — Big as the What? Tour. During his set, Drizzy noticed a fan in the crowd holding a sign that read: “I just finished chemo“, he turned to the guy and said “listen, forget Drake, forget anyone else in this building right now. He is a real soldier,” he said to the applause of the crowd and then promised to give the fan $100,000.

I hope my manager doesn’t kill me because I’ve never done anything like that, but listen, I want you to cash it in at the end of the night“, he added. “We’ll give you $100,000. I love you and wish you the best.
