Sangiovanni stops and postpones the release of the album and the tour

It was understood that Sangiovanni was experiencing a period of fragility. Not only had he declared it before participating in the Sanremo Festival, but it was enough to listen to his latest album Cadere Volare to understand how the sudden and explosive success that came with Amici had made him fragile and in some way undermined his stability.

As he himself admitted, he experienced the Festival with discomfort, something that had already happened when he participated with the song Farfalle. “I also experienced the previous Sanremo with the same discomfort, but I can no longer pretend that everything is fine and that I’m happy with what I’m doing.”

Sangiovanni therefore decides to stop and postpone the release of the album and the October date at the Assago Forum. “Sometimes you have to have the courage to stop and I’m here to share with you that I have decided to do so,” Sangiovanni wrote. And the courage to stop is not a given. It’s easier to move forward than to stop.
