GloRilla Checks In With President Joe Biden At The White House

GloRilla has entered new territory. The Memphis rapper recently shared selfies with President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris at the White House. According to Complex, the chart-topping rapper was a guest of POTUS at the White House’s Women’s History Month reception.

The 24-year-old shared both videos and photos from the event, even rapping her newest song “Yea Glo!” with a political twist.

“Yeah, Joe!” exclaimed the Grammy-nominated musician while standing with Biden. Not understanding the song, the 81-year-old responded, “Yeah well not Joe, but yeah you.” Additional photos include snaps in the White House mirror, Harris, and more.

The moment was shared on social media by the “Tomorrow 2” performer with an endorsement for Biden in the upcoming presidential election. “YEAH JOE 2024,” wrote the rapper, born Gloria Hallelujah Woods, in the caption accompanied by multiple American flag emojis.

The visit is just one highlight of GloRilla’s 2024 thus far. As she gears to release a debut album, the aforementioned “Yeah Glo!” track is climbing up the charts, potentially leading to a spring and summer domination.

“I’m always open to trying new sh*t. You got to step out your comfort zone. If you’re comfortable, you’re never going to grow,” she explained to GQ last year of her creative efforts. “I’m going to try everything. If it works, it works, if it don’t, it don’t. But at least I tried it, you know? I can’t dance, but I’m going to try to dance, give them a show, try to put different emotions into it.”

“I don’t feel like I have to, but I want to. I want to explore different sh*t like, okay maybe I might start liking it. Maybe this is what I needed or maybe this is what I’m missing, so I’m just open to everything.”
