IKYGUY Offers New Twist On Eliminate's 'You're Gonna Love Me' – FUXWITHIT
As an artist who has been on our radar for almost two years, IKYGUY has continuously impressed with his ability to create a wide array of genres and styles. Although releases are often few and far between, two certainties with IKYGUY tracks are top-tier quality and no lack of ingenuity. Now, the Toronto-based artist returns with another one of his impressive rewrites, this time tackling Eliminate‘s ‘You’re Gonna Love Me.’
The original is an emotional trap banger riddled with quintessential Eliminate sounds, using Leah Culver’s vocals to drive passion. IKYGUY takes these vocals and layers them above a whole new instrumental, beginning with euphoric soundscapes in the introduction before transitioning into a bass brute. This remix has more oomph in its drops than the original, with grungy basses and crisp percussion coming together to create a wicked flow.
