Will Smith Shows Off Insane Camera Operating Skills In Viral BTS Clip From ‘Bad Boys: Ride Or Die’
Will Smith has become known for many different things over the last three decades, but one aspect about him that remains unwavering, is his incredible acting ability.
On Tuesday (June 4), the Oscar winner decided to give fans a behind-the-scenes look at how he single-handedly filmed an action scene for the forthcoming sequel Bad Boys: Ride or Die. In the clip, Smith is toting a gun while also operating a camera harnessed to his back.
Reminiscent of a Call of Duty gaming scene, the 55-year-old can be seen aiming at opps with Martin Lawrence watching his back closely.
“Just wait until you guys to see this scene,” Smith captioned the clip.
The Fresh Prince of Belair star’s comment section immediately filled with admiration and praise for his on-screen skills.
“This is acting on another level making sure you get the shot,” one person wrote as another said, “The extra and behind-the-scenes footage is giving us new perspectives on action movies. With all this marketing hype, it better be better than Bad Boys 1! that is all am saying!”
A few celebrities also chimed in. Busta Rhymes commented, “Incredible!!!!” with fire emojis as Tabitha Brown called Smith the goat.
Bad Boys: Ride or Die hits theaters on Friday (June 7), and is the third sequel to the 1995 original film. In this fourth installment, Smith and Lawrence team up again as the dynamic duo, Detective Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett, as they internally investigate corruption in the Miami Police Department.
Recurring stars from all Bad Boys films include Joe Pantoliano, John Salley, Vanessa Hudgens, Paola Nunez, Alexander Ludwig, and Jacob Scipio. In Ride or Die, Rhea Seehorn, Tiffany Haddish, Eric Dane, and Loan Gruffudd join the cast for the first time. DJ Khaled is also expected to reprise his role as Manny the Butcher from Bad Boys For Life.
Amid the film’s press run, Lawrence gave a health update after fans speculated that something may be “off” with his wellness. The Neighborhood Talk posted a clip from a press junket where many felt the Martin star was disengaged.
“Martin is NOT ok. Get well Marty Mar,” commented one person as another said, “Something is really off about Martin. His slow reaction, [and] stumbling of words. You can even tell Will recognizes by looking at him.”
However, the 59-year-old declared that he’s “fine” while speaking with Ebro Darden on Hot 97’s Ebro in the Morning.
“I’m fine. I’m in God’s hands. I’m blessed… I’m glad to be waking up every day and everything. No need for people to be concerned,” he said. “And I’m healthy as hell. Stop the rumors!”
