We TV Releases Trailer For Limited Series ‘Love After Lockup: Crime Story’

We TV is putting a spin on the hit romance-crime reality show Love After Lockup—focusing on the crime stories behind the show’s most infamous stars like Michael, Quaylon, Cameron and others.

The network has now released the trailer for its highly anticipated limited series, Love After Lockup: Crime Story.

This gripping new show takes Love After Lockup beyond the romances and drama—diving deep into how the formerly incarcerated stars ended up behind bars in the first place. Featuring raw, in-depth interviews, visits to the scenes of their arrests, video footage, and emotional reflections on their troubled pasts, the cast is opening up even more than before.

For Crime Story, the following familiar faces will revisit their troubled pasts: Lindsey (seasons 3 and 4), Garrett (Season 1), Brittany (Seasons 2, 3, and 4), Louie (Season 4), Michael (Seasons 2 and 3), Cameron (Season 4), Lizzie (Seasons 1 and 2), Quaylon (Season 3), Lisa (Season 3), Destinie (Seasons 3 and 4), Amber (Seasons 2, 3, and 4), and Mikey (Season 4).

Love After Lockup made a huge wave with season four when couple Monique Robinson and inmate Derek Warner Jr. appeared on the series. The couple not only caused much conversation for their extreme size differences, but also for the drama that unfolded between them and their families.

Onscreen, Monique was ridiculed for her helpless romantic behavior with Derek, who served nine years for drug possession and distribution. During the season, the Chicago native appeared to be head-over-heels in love with Monique until his behavior as a free man suggested otherwise. Upon his release, Monique treated Derek to expensive designer clothing, the latest technology, and a dinner fit for a king. However, throughout the season and even after filming, Derek was exposed to have allegedly been cheating on Monique the entire time.

Unfortunately, Derek never did come through on his promise to marry Monique. The couple broke up on the show and reportedly have not been back together since.
