Keys N Krates Release 'Flips Vol. 1' With All Proceeds Going To NAACP – FUXWITHIT
Toronto trio Keys N Krates are back with a fresh remix pack for fans simply titled Flips Vol. 1. If that wasn’t enough to get you excited, every dollar they make from the release will be donated to NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund. The pack features 3 new flips of Snoh Aalegra, Frank Ocean and Lauryn Hill.
‘Snoh Flip’ kicks things off with KnK reworking ‘Love Like That.’ It packs the emotional and soulful appeal of the original but sprinkles in a bit more bump. This one will you have in your feels while nodding your head. Taking on ‘Chanel’ comes ‘Frank Flip.’ The vocals are impassioned, providing the foundation but it’s the steel drum drops that make this one feel like a summertime smash. This is a sunset groove that’ll have you hitting replay. Rounding out the pack is their take on Lauryn Hill’s ‘Ex-factor.’ Leveraging the familiar vocals samples also used on Drake’s ‘Nice For What,’ this feels instantly recognizable but fresh.
