Jim Jones Warns “Don’t Get Scared Now” As He Teases Potential New Podcast

The rapper-to-podcaster list could grow by one with the latest announcement from Jim Jones.

On Instagram, the Harlem native teased his official entrance into the audio/visual space while showcasing his new studio, offering guests the opportunity to rent space and film their own work.

“Don’t get scared now new Pod cast on th[e] way,” he warned in the caption. “I done made all yal pod cast hott time to take my spot back lol lol lol lol.” Earlier this year, Jones sparked conversations and even made appearances on various platforms as he questioned Nas’ cultural relevance in comparison with his own.

In the video itself, the “We Fly High” performer exclaimed, “Is y’all ready for my podcast? Because none of you could talk more sh*t than me, I promise you that,” and continued to detail, “This is actually one of the podcast setups we have in the facility that’s here for rent.”

“I know y’all got nervous,” joked the 49-year-old. “You never know what might could happen. I might just do one for fun.”

On the official account, Jim Jones announced the Intellectual Factory of Content (IFC), described as being for influencers, podcasters, content creators, and musicians. At the space, located in the West Bronx, according to its listing on Peerspace, creatives are invited to film, record & create in one space for $150 every hour.

In a clip shared last month, Atlanta rapper Quavo popped up as the IFC’s first guest.

“I just wanna show y’all what real support looks like,” shared Jones, followed by Quavo confirming, “I’m the first one in this motherf**ker…We having levels to this sh*t.”
