DJ Akademiks Agrees To Join Yung Miami For Episode Of ‘Caresha Please’
DJ Akademiks and Yung Miami will either be burying the hatchet or taking their beef to another level soon, as the controversial personality agreed to join the City Girls member on a forthcoming episode of Caresha Please.
Miami requested his appearance on X (formerly Twitter) this week. “Let’s do Caresha please season 2 @Akademiks,” she wrote. “I would love a sit down from my POV. Everyone POV is very important!!” Ak quoted her tweet and responded, “I’m down.” She expressed her excitement about the opportunity in her follow-up quote tweet, writing “Ayeeee!!”
Several fans predicted how this possible sit-down would go. “You bout to get jumped on camera,” one user wrote with laughing emojis. “You bout to sick [Saucy Santana] on him ain’t you,” another user wrote. “He going to jail soon , y’all need to do this now,” another user wrote, referencing Akademiks being accused of rape and defamation.
This was quite the change of energy for the two, who previously haven’t had nice things to say about one another. Yung Miami released “50/50” this past February, where she infamously called DJ Akademiks “Mr. Pocket Pu**y.” She also rapped “Ni**a d**k small, probably why his balls so pissy / Meat puller on your knees, how you standin’ on the business? / Akademiks, you a bi**h, why you speakin’ on women?”
Akademiks, when reporting on Diddy’s sexual assault lawsuits, implicated Miami as well. “N Yall Thought I was capping when I said Yung Miami moving like she the new Ghislaine Maxwell of da Freak Offs,” he wrote. “Imagine 50 ni**as coming thru to f**k while playing ‘ACT BAD’ on blast in the background. GROSS.” He also shared a screenshot of a TMZ article that claimed her cousin sexually assaulted a man and tried to force him to have sex in front of Diddy and other men.
One month later, he doubled down when Yung Miami was accused of being a sex worker for Diddy and was accused of transporting “pink cocaine” for him. “Yung Miami being called an alleged sex worker and drug mule in a lawsuit but was tight at me for calling her a side chick,” he wrote. “Ni**a sounds like I was giving her a promotion.. a upgrade from these other titles she’s being referred to.” This sit-down will either be reconciliatory or incendiary, but one thing is for sure: whenever it happens, if it does, it will be a must-watch.
