The Future of the 167 Gang has been arrested on charges of being the head of a drug and weapons ring
The operation coordinated by the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Varese was called ‘Stone Notes’, which on 21 October led to the arrest of 19 people, including The Future of the 167 gang, on charges of trafficking in narcotic substances (cocaine, heroin and hashish), extortion and possession of weapons.
It all started with the arrest of three Senegalese men for drug dealing, one of whom was in possession of short and long weapons, including an AK47 type submachine gun.
During the observation activities which then led to the arrest of the three foreigners, the figure of an Italian emerged who, on board his own car which was then subjected to interception, was working to provide foreigners with various services, transporting them from one part of the forest to another in exchange for doses of cocaine. The man, a local criminal, in addition to hanging out with pushers, often went to a private place in a neighborhood of Malnate, which later turned out to be the registered office of the 167 Gang.
The investigations then revealed a close link with The Future, who is believed to be, not only at the head of a hashish and cocaine dealing ring, but also the supplier of part of the weapons seized from the three arrested North Africans.
