Ghali accused by the League of encouraging illegal immigration

Ghali brought not only his music to the Forum stage, but also his thoughts and support for Palestine. The same one he had brought, albeit in a less explicit way, to the Ariston stage with the song Casa Mia and his appeal to “stop the genocide”. And already there he had taken a lot criticisms.

Now, on the stage of his concert, where an artist is presumed to be free to express himself as he sees fit in front of his audience, he carries the flag of Palestine and clearly says that Israel’s war is not a war but a genocide.

Not just words, Ghali wanted there to be several banquets at the Forum to support Mediterranea Saving Humans, the NGO to which Ghali himself donated a boat for sea rescue, Banya, also the title of one of his songs.

A concrete and 360-degree commitment from Ghali, which however was not liked by the deputy secretary of the League Andrea Crippa, who, interviewed by Affaritaliani.it, accused Ghali of sending a message with which to encourage illegal immigration.

These are his words:

“We really didn’t feel the need for the rapper Ghali’s appeal to clandestine and illegal immigration made at the Milan Forum complete with the Palestinian flag, without any respect for the Israeli civilian victims of October 7th. Immigration is serious business. And if regular and well managed it is good for the country. You enter Italy with a residence permit and respecting the rules. This should be the clear and strong message to send to young people. And instead the rapper of Tunisian origins, a typical example of the extreme and radical left that despises the State and the rules and too often attacks the police, incites illegal immigration. Ghali ultimately sends a wrong and dangerous message to young people. A message of illegality and lack of respect for the law and the State. If he wants to give a serious message to young people, Mr Ghali should instead talk about respect, first of all for women. Too often we see murderers and rapists of foreign origins, as demonstrated by the latest cases in the news. And so if you want to do a favor to your new homeland, Italy, which has given you so much glory, start communicating a message of legality and not encourage illegal immigration.”
