Drake accuses Kendrick Lamar of buying Not Like Us streams

And it’s not as if Drake simply declared “Kendrick Lamar inflated the streams of Not Like Us, the popular diss track which among other things has 5 nominations at the Grammy Awards, he didn’t actually sue him.

Well, if you have to do something, do it big. And so Drake has filed a lawsuit against Universal and Spotify, alleging that sales of “Not Like Us” were inflated.

According to Drake, in fact, Universal and Spotify would have used bots and payola to falsify the number of plays of Kendrick Lamar’s song, which as we know is a diss track aimed at him.

Universal is also accused of false advertising and violation of the RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act).

The documentation also brings up the podcast NFR, which allegedly received money to promote Lamar’s single, without declaring that it was an advert.

An information note from Universal immediately arrived, rejecting Drake’s accusations, calling them offensive and false and underlining that it is only the public who chooses the music they want to listen to.
