Zeal Brings The Energy With New Remix For Nueva Recordings – FUXWITHIT
Despite all the promotional tools available nowadays, I love how the most powerful of them is still word-of-mouth. The amount of qualitative music I’ve discovered talking to friends and lurking in group chats largely exceeds what I’ve found through other mediums. This track is a perfect example of this trend: I don’t have to thank any algorithms, but exclusively Rohaan‘s fine taste and his promptness in opening my DMs.
Zeal is not a new name for FUXWITHIT, we’ve already met him 4 months ago with his powerful banger ‘Force’ inside the latest MAD ZOO compilation. To be completely honest, at that time he hadn’t completely convinced me, but with this brand new remix for Entel (released via Nueva Recordings) he has earned my total attention. Without mercy, Zeal has completely shaken ‘Ariel’ up, turning it from a progressive house anthem, perfect for a sunset set on an Ibiza terrace, into an electrifying D&B rollercoaster, worth to be played on Let It Roll’ s mainstage. The raving groove doesn’t give a single second of break during all the four minutes of the track while the original’s theme, rearranged in the Drum & Bass sauce, sets a texture that reminds me of Metrik’s style and in particular his iconic collaboration with Camo & Krooked, ‘Aurora‘.
