Ye Sends Ex-Wife Kim Kardashian Cease-And-Desist, Claims She Violates His Parental Rights

In the years since his divorce from Kim Kardashian, Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, has been vocal in his complaints regarding his parental rights. Most recently, the Chicago artist filed a cease-and-desist letter against his ex-wife, “concerning the welfare and custody of Mr. West’s minor children: North West, Saint West, Chicago West, and Psalm West.”

Within the document obtained by TMZ, Ye’s attorney, Kathy Johnson, claims that Kardashian has violated their divorce settlement. While they legally share custody, Ye feels his parental requests are constantly ignored, violating his rights to make equal decisions with co-parent Kim regarding their children. This includes his demand that Kim not post “images and videos” of eldest daughter North to TikTok. He also accused Kim of leaving the 11-year-old in a car unsupervised during portions of the 2025 Met Gala this week.

Ye also claims he has been denied “meaningful access” to his children, alleging he’s had “unreasonably restricted” interactions with North, Chicago, and Psalm. He adds the claim that he hasn’t seen son Saint since 2024, echoing claims he also made on X/Twitter. This, however, has been disproven, as there are photos of the Bully rapper with his three youngest children in Japan from this January. Ye also accused his ex of exploiting North for “personal or commercial gain” via social media footage of the pre-teen attending various events.

Ye recently voiced his frustration over co-parenting with his ex, stating his intention to get more lawyers involved. Sources close to Kim told TMZ, however, that Ye has rarely requested to spend time with their kids at all in 2025, and that she did not deny him when he did.
