Tyler Perry’s ‘Beauty In Black’ Trailer Unites Two Women Of Different Worlds

“Image is everything, and I will kill to protect it,” declares the character Mallory played by Crystle Stewart as a vehicle drives through a dark rainy night, hitting a pedestrian, in the dramatic trailer for Tyler Perry‘s Beauty In Black.

The 16-episode drama series premieres on Netflix in October with the first eight episodes and is created, directed, written, and executive produced by Perry. In the series, the worlds of two vastly different women collide. Beauty in Black is part of Perry’s overall deal with the streamer.

According to the official description, “while Kimmie (Taylor Polidore Williams) is struggling to make a living after her mother kicked her out, and Mallory is running a successful business, they find themselves entangled in each other’s lives.”

Beauty In Black also stars Amber Reign Smith as Rain, Ricco Ross as Horace, Debbi Morgan as Olivia, Richard Lawson as Norman, Steven G. Robinson as Delinda, Ashley Versher as Lena, and George Middlebrook as Officer Trackson.
