Notably, undefeated boxing champion Terence Crawford previously recalled a nearly violent altercation with Songz during 50 Cent’s Tycoon Weekend in 2022.

“Trey Songz was just having a moment,” Crawford said on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast, adding that he initially thought Songz was joking. “Is he serious or is he playing? I was waiting to go ‘I’m just playing with you.’ I wasn’t gonna punch him, I was gonna choke him. I wanna choke you, I don’t even wanna punch you.”
