Tory Lanez’s Team Claims Kelsey Harris’ Bodyguard Said She Shot Megan Thee Stallion, Not Tory

Tory Lanez has been behind bars for over a year after being found guilty on all charges related to Megan Thee Stallion getting shot in her feet back in 2020. A new testimony recently emerged that attempted to clear the Brampton, Canada singer of any guilt in the situation, instead putting all of the blame on the Houston rapper’s former best friend, Kelsey Harris.

Unite The People held a press conference in Los Angeles today (May 14) where they shared the testimony of Bradley James, who served as Harris’ bodyguard during Peterson’s trial in 2022. It is important to note that James specifically recounted a conversation he had overheard between Harris and her husband, as opposed to anything he witnessed firsthand.

“[Harris] had the gun. [Harris] fired it [at Megan] three times. Mr. Peterson grabbed her arm and knocked it down, and the gun fired two more times. In essence, Mr. Peterson never shot anybody. Never even touched that gun. He never even fired the gun,” attorney Walter Roberts said. “This statement aligns with the statement of the only non-party witness to the case, Mr. Sean Kelly, who at trial testified he saw two women fighting, two men break up the fight, one man grab the other one’s arm, gunshots came from the passenger side.”

Roberts continued, questioning the DNA sampling process that fateful evening. “There were three potential suspects in the car that night,” he added. “And yet the only DNA sample was taken of Mr. Peterson, even though unknown DNA was found on the gun.”

Author Gianno Caldwell, who had already been working to assist Tory, echoed the sentiment. “Why didn’t all individuals have [their] residue tested?” he asked. “Their DNA tested on the weapon? That’s a legitimate question. According to Tory. According to the prosecution, Tory was excluded from the clip of the gun and according to Tory’s defense team, they said DNA analysis showed that there was a 0.01% chance the Tory touched the actual gun itself.”

Time will tell what comes of these accounts, but the timing is interesting given the fact that Tory Lanez was attacked in jail this week. An inmate serving life in prison for murder stabbed the “LUV” singer 14 times across different parts of his body, causing his lungs to collapse and his breathing to become dependent on a device. Lanez took to Instagram to reveal that he was recovering well and in good spirits after receiving medical attention.
