Tasha K Seems Unfazed By Soulja Boy’s Defamation Lawsuit, Invites Servers To Show
Tasha K doesn’t seemed that moved by Soulja Boy’s defamation and sexual harassment lawsuit against her and reality star, William The Baddest.
On Thursday (July 18), the controversial blogger taunted the “Crank That” legend by inviting process servers to hand-deliver the docs at her upcoming live shows in Boston and New York.
“PSA. Process Servers can meet me in BOSTON on Saturday July 20 or in New York City on July 21st! I will be performing at The City Wineries,” she wrote on Instagram. “My wine, gossip & comedy shows start promptly at 7:30pm est. Be sure to purchase a ticket process server and I will make sure that my security team lets you through to serve me without any hassle.”
She added, “My lawyers are also in New York and will be attending my New York Show as well if u have any problems getting to me!”
According to TMZ Hip-Hop, Soulja is suing Tasha and Bad Boys LA star William The Baddest after they entertained “gay rumors” about him on her Unwine With Tasha K podcast.
Soulja Boy vehemently slammed the bizarre sexual claims made by William and also sent Tasha a retraction letter, allowing them to take back what was said on her show. However, they both failed to do so.
The 33-year-old announced that he was taking legal action on Wednesday (July 17) and is suing both parties for defamation, sexual harassment, violation of right to privacy, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and more. He’s reportedly seeking more than $16 million in total damages.
On Tasha’s show, William recounted to her the time he allegedly met Soulja Boy and was asked if he “gets down.” He then described to the gossip blogger how everything allegedly happened, adding in that Soulja was well-endowed and that he “loved” having sex with him.
After Williams’ episode went viral, Soulja Boy took to Instagram to deny the rumors. He claimed to have only taken a picture with William before, who was a fan of his at the time. In his IG video, he also joked that Meek Mill could have possibly “paid” William to say damaging things about him after rumors of his own sexuality began circulating.
“On my life, God strike me down. Send me to hell right now,” Soulja Boy declared. “On my soul, on everything I love, that dude is lying. I could die right now today. God strike me down. I put in on my life.”
He then shared a phone call with his lawyer, where he confirmed that a lawsuit was taking place.
“We suing the f**k out this ni**a. She gone have to pay me,” Soulja said. His lawyer added, “I’m doing the research and putting it all together right now. Cease and desist and getting sued, all of it.”
According to the lawsuit obtained by AllHipHop, Soulja’s reps stated: “Plaintiff has suffered actual reputational and professional harm as a result of defendants maliciously targeting plaintiff and seeking to sabotage his career, redefining his character as a man who is not straight, a fraud and dishonest person in the entertainment industry, as a public figure, which is not true.”
Aside from Soulja, Tasha K has been sued by Cardi B, who won roughly $4,000,000 in a 2022 defamation lawsuit. Kevin Hart and R. Kelly also sued the social commentator in 2023.
