Run The Jewels’ RTJ4 has arrived early! In a statement with the release the duo said, “Fuck it, why wait. The world is infested with bullshit so here’s something raw to listen to while you deal with it all. We hope it brings you some joy. Stay safe and hopeful out there.” The project is a soundtrack to the times. It’s agressive, in-your-face, political, offensive and intelligent. It’s exactly what the world needs right now.

The 11 song effort features 2 Chainz, Greg Nice, DJ Premier, Pharrell Wiliams, Zack de le Rocha, Gangsta Boo, Mavis Staples and Josh Homme. The project is available for free download but they are encouraging donations to the National Lawyers Guild Mass Defense Fund. The Mass Defense Committee (MDC) is a network of lawyers, legal workers and law students providing legal support for political activists, protesters and movements for social change.
