Rihanna Says She’s Down To Have More Kids To “Try For My Girl”

Rihanna, in her own words, has “embraced motherhood like a G” so far — and she’s not done yet. Confirmed in a brand new profile by Interview, the Anti creator says she wants to have more kids with her current partner A$AP Rocky.

The conversation provided context about the love story between the two successful artists, as it explained how divine timing played a role in their journey to creating a family together. “I just let whatever was supposed to happen, happen… COVID sped up our relationship, which I felt like God knew we needed because we were going to start a family. And had it not been for COVID, we would’ve taken a lot more time to get comfortable with each other, to even know that we were ready,” she told the outlet.

The “Diamonds” singer and Harlem rapper welcomed their first baby boy, RZA, in May 2022. They then had another son, Riot, in August 2023.

“They’re the best though. Having a house full of boys, I thought I was a girl mom, but I’m a boy mom. I love this. I love it,” RiRi said about her two sons. However, she still has that “girl mom” role on her mind, and she shared her desire to complete their family with a baby girl one day. “I don’t know what God wants, but I would go for more than two. I would try for my girl.”

Elsewhere in the interview, she gushed about Rocky’s full confidence in her ability to be a great mother. “When someone sees you completely, and believes in you, and thinks you’re worthy of being the mother of their kids, it’s a great feeling,” she said. “I felt the same about him. I knew he would be a great dad.”

“I think we do a real great job at collaborating, making children,” the “Fashion Killa” rapper said. “I think that’s our best creation so far. Nothing’s better than that out there, any design.”

As for how parenting is going for Rihanna, she recently provided an honest update about the new lifestyle. She uploaded a few shots from her Interview photoshoot with the caption, “literally how i feel in postpartum with 2 under 2.” Take a look below.
