This film marks Ice Spice’s second venture into Hollywood, as she had a role in A24’s Highest 2 Lowest, which stars Denzel Washington and A$AP Rocky. The film, directed by Spike Lee, finds Washington, 70, playing a record executive with the “best ears in the business” who is then targeted in a ransom plot. Additional co-stars include Jeffrey Wright and Ilfenesh Hadera. The bold 2025 neo-noir crime thriller directed is a reinterpretation of Akira Kurosawa’s 1963 classic High and Low.
As for Regina Hall, she’s set to star alongside Teyana Taylor and Leonardo DiCaprio for their new film, One Battle After Another. The film, which is loosely based on Thomas Pynchon’s 1990 novel Vineland, is described as a “satirical black comedy action film” and centers around a group of ex-revolutionaries who reunite after 16 years to save one of their own’s daughter after an old nemesis reemerges.
Although the trailer for Spongebob Movie: Search for Squarepants has not been released, the film is set to premiere in December.
