‘Reasonable Doubt’ Renewed For Season 3 At Hulu

Jax Stewart, and all of her drama, will return to the silver screen.

Onyx Collective and 20th Television announced Wednesday (Nov. 13) that Reasonable Doubt has officially been renewed for a third season on Hulu. The series, created, written, and executive produced by Raamla Mohamed, stars Emayatzy Corinealdi in the leading role of Jacqueline “Jax” Stewart, as well as McKinley Freeman, and Morris Chestnut.

Season two of Reasonable Doubt debuted in August 2024 on the streamer, with the finale available last month. The second installment concluded with doors being shut and opened as the storyline tests Stewart’s professional and personal relationships.

“Encore” – The verdict for Shanelle’s case comes back. Jax and Lewis have to figure out what their future looks like.

“They definitely are happy with the way the show is performing, and it’s doing well and people are really excited about it so that makes me very happy,” Mohamed shared with The Hollywood Reporter last month before Reasonable Doubt was officially renewed.

“I’m hoping that I hear something before the end of the year either way. The most important thing is that people keep watching, keep telling their friends. Black content is important, whatever kind of show it is. Because we all relate to these shows differently. I remember when Power premiered on Starz, and it was like, ‘Oh, I’m into this.’ It was fun to see us. It’s great to see Black actors really shine. I’m glad Bel-Air is doing well, so I hope that people are committed to Black content and continuing the shows that people are people are talking about.”
