Quavo Fires Back At Chris Brown With New Single “Tender”
Within 24 hours, Quavo has shot back at Chris Brown with his new song “Tender.”
The single dropped at midnight (April 12), and left many to connect the dots to Brown, as Quavo’s lyrics speak about a certain someone “doing a woman wrong,” and even saying “don’t beat her up.” The latter seemingly refers to Brown’s 2009 altercation with Rihanna.
In “Tender,” Qua raps, “You did the bi**h wrong and now the bi**h gone, she posted with a thug/ Call the bi**h phone, she won’t come home, don’t beat her up/ It must be the drugs, need to cross out your plug.”
The response comes after the R&B crooner traded in ballads for bars, rapping, “F**kin’ my old bi**hes ain’t gon’ make us equal/ Sippin’ that 1942 ’cause I don’t do no Cuervo [Quavo]/ Freak bi**h, she like Casamigos, not the Migos.”

Chris Brown and Quavo’s feud stems from tension after the Migos rapper began dating Karrueche Tran, Brown’s ex. Allegedly, the “Turn Yo Clic Up” rhymer may have “betrayed” CB in some way by not being upfront about starting a romance with the model and actress.
Additionally, in January, the “Sensational” crooner was seated next to Quavo at a Rhude fashion show during Paris Fashion Week — which, of course, re-sparked conversation about their “beef.”
In a clip, the two could be seen sitting in the front row and having no sort of interaction or engagement with one another. The same day, Breezy took to social media to write, “Can’t pick who u sit by. F**k all that growth sh*t. Ni**a not finna fumble my bag for little ni**as.”
Although the two have never gotten into a physical altercation, in 2017, both of their entourages got into a shoving and shouting match. Many thought Brown had called a truce in 2021 when he challenged Quavo and Jack Harlow to a two-on-two basketball game.
“They knew who not to ask for on that 2 on 2 basketball,” Brown posted on his Instagram Story at the time. “I would’ve cooked Quavo and Jack! On my soul! Guess they wanted a smoke free zone.”
In response, Quavo said, “Chris Brown ain’t cookin’ nan. Call next ni**a!!” to which Breezy replied, “It ain’t no next. I’m on now. Set it up lil ni**a. U know dis work different. Me and @AustinMcBroom vs the Lil Boys.”
