Starting out in earnest as any epic adventure does, ‘Take a Trip’ lures you in with a soothing melody that enraptures you in the current moment and buckles your seatbelt firmly, preparing your mind and body for the expedition you’re about to undergo. The rollercoaster slowly ticks up the track until the build accelerates, forcing your body to clench tightly as adrenaline levels spike as your nervous system is warned that you’re about to experience something truly extraordinary. The first cascade of luscious, speaker-quaking bass is reminiscent of fine wine, full-bodied and rich, but satisfyingly intoxicating.
