Phaedra Parks Confirms Her Return To ‘Real Housewives Of Atlanta’ After 7 Year Absence

Phaedra Parks has confirmed that she’s officially returning to The Real Housewives of Atlanta for its 16th season.

Parks, who was previously married to Apollo Nida, starred on the Bravo show from seasons 3-9 and quickly became a star of the reality-drama show. Parks exited the show after allegedly starting a rumor about Kandi Burruss and Porsha Williams regarding a male exotic dancer named Bolo The Entertainer.

The 50-year-old took to Instagram to hint at her return to the show with the caption, “You called. I answered.” She also added a peach emoji with a photo of her holding the Georgia fruit while posing on the steps of a private jet.

Since leaving RHOA, Parks went on to join the cast of Married to Medicine where she has remained for two seasons.

Upon joining the reality show based on women who are married to doctors, Parks received criticism because she wasn’t in a relationship with anyone in the medical field. At the time, Parks explained that she was previously dating a cardiologist but it “didn’t work out.” She also noted that on the side she’s a “Reiki healer” and a “mortician,” which she felt earned her a spot.

“I’m a Reiki healer and I’m a mortician and I think you can’t get any closer to living than dying,” she told US Weekly back in March. “The doctors fix somebody and I send them to Jesus. You can’t get any closer to the medicine than what I do on the back end… I’m a healer in more ways than one so while they might be doctors, I’m truly the medicine.”
