‘Love Island USA’ S7 Reunion Trailer Teases Uncut Heartrate Challenge, Huda’s Heated Return, And More

Love Island USA had reality TV lovers glued to their screens all summer long, and now, the show is returning with its season 7 cast for a highly anticipated reunion. The drama and love-filled season was filled with highs and lows, ultimately leaving the fans with a plethora of unanswered questions. However, the trailer shows many of those loose ends will finally be addressed.

“I’m just looking forward to seeing all the people that voted me out,” says Charlie in the clip, referring to how he was voted off by cast members even though he had a strong connection brewing with Hannah.

Host Ariana Madix puts Jeremiah and Bell-A in the hot seat by asking if they began a post-season fling, and Andy Cohen asks Olandria if her romance with Nic was “worth the wait.” The viewers get to enjoy an update from winners Amaya and Bryan as they share what happened during Ms. Papaya’s first visit to her man’s hometown. Producers also give fans arguably the most requested footage of the season: the extended version of the Heartrate Challenge.

Every cast member was present for the taping, except a few people from Casa Amor. The reunion is set to air on Peacock on Aug. 25.

Huda, one of the season’s most polarizing characters, makes her return after rumors were swirling that she chose to skip the event. Her love interest Chris is seen confronting her by saying he doesn’t respect the things she has been saying about him in her post-season interviews.

Ace finally addresses how the viewers blamed him entirely for Jeremiah’s departure, and there’s a preview of Chelley confronting Huda about switching up after everybody left the villas.

Following a successful season 6, this year’s iteration of Love Island USA continued the upward trend of the show exploding in popularity across the globe. It got off to a rocky start with one person being booted off the show for previously using a racial slur, and another cast member again way later on into the season. However, it ended on a high note with Nicolandria nation being right all along, and Bryan and Amaya Papaya making history as the first Latino couple to take the crown.
