Latto Shades Ice Spice While Judging Auditions On Funny Marco’s “Open Thoughts” Show
While appearing on Funny Marco‘s Open Thoughts show, Latto threw a bit of shade at Ice Spice while judging aspiring artists who were looking to be the “next big thing.”
While one of the auditionees rapped for the judges, Latto compared the young woman to the “Deli” rapper.
“It gives me like… Ice Spice,” she said. “It was like, ‘I’m so cute, grah.’”

As reported, Latto and Ice Spice have traded shots at one another in the past, although they’ve both claimed there’s no beef between them.
Ice seemingly dissed Latto on her “Think U The Sh*t (Fart)” record, and in return, the “Big Energy” rapper clapped back on her hit single “Sunday Service.” The Atlanta native also took a jab at Spice with a “poop” celebratory cake for a career milestone of hers.
“Think I’m the s*t, bi**h?????,” read words written on Latto’s cake, which was a direct reference to Spice’s single.
Ice Spice addressed her suspected “beef” with Latto in her Rolling Stone July cover story. The Bronx star admitted that their feud began as “a joke” but it became a bigger thing when Latto “dragged it out.”
“I feel like if we ever spoke and I asked her ‘What’s the issue?’ it’d be like a blank stare,” Ice predicted. “It’d really be no issue whatsoever. Especially from me. I can understand a friendly competition, but I just feel like at this point it’s a joke that she’s just dragged out, and it’s just not even funny. Like, bro, ‘Think U the Sh*t’ is from January.”
Addressing Latto’s “sh*t cake,” she added, “You’re going to post a piece of sh*t cake to announce something that’s good news for you? But it is kind of a compliment because you’re taking something that’s supposed to be a fun moment for you and you’re making it about me again.”
Latto also spoke on her issue with Ice Spice in a her Billboard cover story, where she downplayed engaging in a “real rap battle” with the Y2K! rhymer.
“If I was to do [a battle], it would have to be with somebody I feel like Imma go tit for tat with. I really don’t mean it as shade,” she began. “Would she even want to do that? I feel like she’s doing her in her lane. It’s two different types of vibes. I don’t even think she gives me like, ‘Oh, she wants to engage in an actual rap beef.’”
She went on, “Everybody gon’ take their lil jabs in the music, and it’s not even that serious to me; I feel like you should do that. Continue to! But as far as actual whole diss records to each other, I don’t think she would even want to do that. I feel like… would it even make sense? It wouldn’t.”
Elsewhere in the auditions, Latto defended Cardi B from a rapper who claimed the “Up” rapstress “stole his lingo” and dance moves.
“Hey Cardi B,” the contestant addressed the Bronx rapper who wasn’t present. “Stop stealing my lingo.”
In defense, Latto interjected “Cardi ain’t steal. Cardi ain’t here, but I’m here and I’ma step behind Cardi.” She added, “I’m not endorsing no Cardi B diss. They can go.” Cardi B reposted the clip on X (Twitter).
