Kevin Hart Names Kai Cenat As Perfect Person To Play Him In A Biopic

Ahead of the premiere of the Kevin Hart-starring film Borderlands, the seasoned Hollywood star spoke with VIBE about his role in the video game adaptation, and who he could see playing him one day onscreen.

Hart, 45, named award-winning streamer, Kai Cenat, as the one who he believes could give a “phenomenal” performance of him one day in a biopic. The comedian and actor humorously made it clear that those conversations aren’t being had yet, as he’s not “that old.”

“Is that where we are? ‘Kevin, who do you want to play you?’ Oh my goodness,” he began. “I mean, when we get to that point, it’s definitely a great conversation. I would say in a perfect world, in the future — because I got a feeling that they’ll be able to knock it out the park because of the way they’ll be — Kai Cenat.”

He added, “Cut the dreads and stuff off, I think he can get in there and pull out a phenomenal performance.”

Hart and Cenat actually teamed up back in May for the New Yorker’s entertaining four-hour livestream where they dressed alike, danced, compared heights, responded to viewers’ gifts, and more.

Many fans then began drawing comparisons between the two, saying that Hart and Cenat had “father-son” energy.

Previously, Cenat’s livestream with Nicki Minaj broke his all-time viewership record with 348,000 views. However, his livestream with Hart reached 368,000 concurrent views and counting.

As one of the biggest streamers of all-time with over 10,000,000 million Twitch followers and the title of Streamer of the Year in 2023, he’s been able to tap celebrities including Ice Spice, 21 Savage, and Drake to be a part of his channel in some fashion.

More recently, Hart teamed up with Cenat and his AMP team again for a hilarious 2024 Freshman freestyle on top of a building. Kevin Hart channeled his infamous “Chocolate Droppa” MC alter-ego, spitting over Kendrick Lamar’s Drake diss track, “Not Like Us.”

“All this talk about the Big 3, f**k that, them not me/ Goddamn, I’m mad/ Oh sh*t, you sad/ Well, it’s time to get glad, ’cause I’m back and I’m really mad,” he hilariously rapped.
