Katt Williams To Return As On-Course Correspondent For PGA Tour Event

Katt Williams is heading back to the fairway—but this time, not just for laughs.
The sharp-tongued comedian is returning to the PGA Tour as an on-course correspondent for PGA Tour Live during the 2025 FedEx St. Jude Championship in Memphis, part of the opening round of the FedExCup Playoffs.
Williams will join ESPN analyst Michael Collins to provide real-time coverage, commentary, and, undoubtedly, a unique perspective that blends humor with genuine golf insight.

This isn’t Williams’ first swing at golf broadcasting. He previously paired up with Collins during a few holes at the 2024 Tour Championship, where his charisma and golf knowledge quickly made him a fan favorite. Now, he’s back for more—mic in hand and golf lingo ready.
“I came in as a 19 handicap, but I shoot low 80s,” the 53-year-old comic told The Hollywood Reporter, exclusively. “You certainly don’t want to bet me! Eighty-three is a good and gettable score for me all across the country at excellent courses.”

An Ohio native and self-described avid golfer, Williams isn’t just there for the cameras. His love for the game runs deep, especially when it comes to golf’s mental demands.
“The thing that I like about golf is that it permeates so many different parts of your life,” he added.
Catch Katt Williams on-course and in action Thursday, Aug. 7, and Friday, Aug. 8, beginning at 9 a.m. ET, where he’ll be following a marquee group. One thing’s for sure—golf coverage just got a lot more entertaining.
