Karlie Redd Celebrates Grand Opening Of New Venture, Red Room Bistro
Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star Karlie Redd celebrated the grand opening of her new restaurant, Red Room Bistro, on Sunday (Sept. 28) in Atlanta. The reality TV star commemorated the moment with her business partner Ace Carrington, fellow Love & Hip-Hop star Spice, daughter Jasmine Ellis, Cliff Vmir, Big Sexy, Portia Burner, K. Botchy, Jaaion Barnes, Ebony Austin, International Nova, and a host of family and friends.
Guests were greeted by Redd’s lavish grand entrance featuring a vibrant drumline performance by the Jonesboro High School Majestic Marching Cardinals. Following that, Pastor Stephanie Jennings of the Harvest Tabernacle Church, gave a prayer that conjured up tears throughout the room, according to a statement. State Representative Eric Bell II later praised Redd for “creating job opportunities and revitalizing Downtown Atlanta with her latest restaurant venture.”
Spice also gave a “heartfelt” toast to Redd and the restaurant’s “success.”
When speaking on the venture, Carrington said in a statement, “I’m excited to join forces again with Karlie on this venture. The restaurant industry can be both challenging and oversaturated, but our focus is clear, delivering great quality food and even greater customer service. Atlanta often carries a stigma of poor service, and we want to change that narrative by setting a new standard.”
Redd added, “Food and quality service have been a passion of mine since childhood. With Red Room Bistro, I wanted to create more than just a restaurant. I wanted to create an experience. This will be a vibe unlike anything else in Atlanta, where great food, atmosphere, and unforgettable moments all come together.”
For both Redd and Carrington, Red Room Bistro is described as “more than just a business,” noting “it’s an ode to family and legacy.” The restaurant was inspired by Redd’s father and late stepmother, who “owned a successful restaurant for decades and ignited her lifelong passion for hospitality.”
Together, the business partners “promise to deliver an unforgettable American/Caribbean infused experience that establishes an expectation that is as much about quality and customer experience as it is about great food.”
