Jason Lee Claims Beyoncé, JAY-Z Called Him Over Diddy Allegations
Jason Lee claims that JAY-Z and Beyoncé have been calling him regarding Diddy‘s allegations. On a recent episode of Lee’s The Jason Lee! podcast, the gossip commentator alleged that Hov has been sending people to call him to seemingly “put out the flames” surrounding the couple’s relationship with Puffy.
Lee went on a rant during the beginning of the clip, being unpleased that he hasn’t “received calls for the Roc Nation brunch” but has been getting calls regarding drama. However, towards the end of the clip he stated that he hasn’t gotten any calls threatening him with violence.
“JAY-Z, I know you’re watching because you got people calling me. Stop having people call me. You can call me yourself, you know how to get my number. You got people calling me,” he asserted. “Call me yourself because this right here is gonna go viral. I will tell you, to the audience, if I do come up missing, all the calls I’ve been getting have been about him,” he continued. Lee did note that hasn’t received any threatening calls.
In other JAY-Z-Beyoncé-Diddy news, Piers Morgan recently apologized to the couple for hosting Jaguar Wright on his Uncensored show. During the interview, Wright claimed that the “nasty couple” who keep “people against their will, putting people on planes while they’re unconscious” was directly tied into the sex trafficking allegations against him.
Morgan’s apology detailed that Hov and Bey, by way of their attorney, were considering legal action if he didn’t remove Wright’s “totally false” claims from the interview. “Jaguar, unexpectedly, made several serious allegations about JAY-Z and Beyoncé during that interview,” Morgan expressed. As I said in the moment, they were not present to respond or defend themselves, but now they have. Their lawyers contacted us to say that those claims were ‘totally false’ and have no basis in fact, and we’ve therefore complied with a legal request to cut them from the original interview.”
“Editing interviews is not something we do lightly at a show called Uncensored but like the proverbial cries of fire in a crowded theater, there are legal limits on us, too. And we apologize to JAY-Z and Beyoncé.”
