Is UNO Coming To Las Vegas Casinos?

The debate on when players can stack and slam Draw Two cards in a game of UNO will not be had in Las Vegas casinos anytime soon. On Monday (July 14), the brand addressed eager fans who had hoped to up the stakes in the competitive card game on official gambling tables in the Nevada city.

“A rumor has come to our attention that there will be UNO tables on the casino floors in Las Vegas. Sounds wild, huh?” elaborated the statement attributed to The UNO Team.

“We hate to be the bearers of bad news, but the casino floor isn’t ready for us yet. We’ve been old that while they do have tight security, it’s not robust enough for UNO at this time. This isn’t a Reverse card. While we get this sorted out, the UNO Social Club is rolling out to bars in Los Angeles, New York City, Chicago, Atlanta, and Austin this August.”

The announcement of the UNO Social Club is likely what sparked the gossip, as the company announced its debut at the Palms Casino Resort. While the news was shared earlier this year in May, the winner of a contest has the chance to experience the attraction this weekend as it officially opens.

According to a press release, the UNO Social Club will have more than the standard deck and include new iterations of the colorful card game.

“We created UNO Social Clubs to reimagine what game night can be—bringing people together for real-world fun, connection, and a bit of friendly competition,” detailed Ray Adler, Vice President and Global Head of Games at Mattel. “The UNO Social Club in Las Vegas is just the beginning, and we’re excited to see how these new experiences inspire players to show up, play hard, and make unforgettable memories.”
