Here Is Where You Can See Young Thug Perform For The First Time Since Jail Release

Young Thug ended 2024 on a high note for himself and his fans when he was offered a plea deal and released from jail. This week, his supporters learned where and when they will be able to see him perform live for the first time since getting out.
The official Les Ardentes Instagram page announced their annual festival will take place in Liége, Belgium from July 3 to July 6. However, the focal point of the graphic was the large text which read, “Young Thug, the 5th of July 2025.” The Atlanta rapper has yet to acknowledge the announcement himself, but it is a big deal regardless as he has not performed in the United States or elsewhere since 2022.
It is safe to assume some domestic shows will be announced soon, as one of the conditions of his plea deal was performing at four charity shows a year. He has been relatively silent overall, likely due to his ongoing legal battle with AEG (Anschutz Entertainment Group).
AEG claims Young Thug signed a deal with them in 2017 that offered him a $5.25 million loan, but he has faltered to pay back the loan and allegedly gave up his copyright to the company’s publishing. Another condition in the deal was that AEG reserved the right to promote all of the 33-year-old rapper’s shows. They previously sued him in 2022 for $6 million due to an alleged breach of contract, citing that he repeatedly booked shows outside of their agreement for hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Outside of legal troubles, Thugger made his grand return to the music space by featuring on Lil Baby’s “Dum, Dumb and Dumber” alongside Future. Toward the end of 2024, he uploaded his classic mixtapes Slime Season & Slime Season 2 to all streaming platforms.
Fans are still waiting for his first solo project since he’s been back, but there have been rumors swirling that he may be working on a collaborative effort with Baby and Future. Listen to “Dum, Dumb and Dumber” below in the meantime.
