Glen ‘Big Baby’ Davis Hit With Lawsuit Over Failed Business Deal Involving Chris Brown

Glen “Big Baby’ Davis has been hit with a lawsuit accusing him of failing to pay back an investor in a cannabis venture and ruining a potential business relationship between the investor and R&B star Chris Brown.

According to the lawsuit, obtained by TMZ Sports, Davis, a former NBA star, is being sued by Dr. Lyndsey White, a pharmaceutical scientist who says she gave Davis $30,000 to launch a marijuana business in 2021.

White says she initially got involved with Davis after the pair agreed to create a signature BBQ sauce called “Big Baby Q” in April 2021. The NBA champion is also said to have introduced White to Brown several months later, who asked the scientist to create a fragrance for him.

However, White claims that the LSU alum began to act aggressively towards her following his arrest for defrauding the NBA’s Players’ Health and Benefit Welfare Plan later that same year, causing her “to fear for her life.”

According to the suit, Davis sold the BBQ sauce White created for their venture without compensating her.

The plaintiff also blames Davis with ruining a potential business relationship with Brown, which went awry due to Davis’ alleged influence.

White is suing Davis for breach of contract, intentional misrepresentation and other claims, and is asking for unspecified damages.

Drafted by the Seattle Supersonics in the second round of the 2007 NBA Draft, Davis was traded to the Boston Celtics, where he won an NBA Championship in 2008.

The undersized power forward would play eight seasons in the NBA for three different teams from 2007 until 2015. He is currently serving a 40-month prison sentence on fraud charges at FPC Duluth in Minnesota.

Prior to news of the lawsuit against Davis, the 38-year-old recently went viral after a shirtless prison photo of him was leaked and posted on social media.

In the photo, he is standing in the middle of two other prisoners, one shirtless and the other wearing a sweatshirt and hat.

The picture would garner widespread reactions on social media, with one user likening the gaze in Davis’ eyes to someone being “on demon time.”
