Fan Covers Drake Tattoo With “BBL Drizzy” Kendrick Lamar Portrait
A once die-hard Drake fan has had a change of heart with a tattoo cover-up.
The fan originally had a portrait of the 6 God making a heart with his fingers, and has now altered it to Kendrick Lamar‘s face captioned with “BBL Drizzy.”
The artwork, done by tattooist Leaf Mchatton, now shows K. Dot crowned as a king, which references Lamar widely being dubbed the winner in his on-wax beef with Drake. The previous tattoo showed a less vibrant portrait of Drake with the lyrics, “Do You Love Me?” from his 2018 hit “In My Feelings.”
Possibly joining in on the banter surrounding the two rap stars’ beef, the tattoo studio captioned the post, “Do you still love me? That’s a hard no, my guy. A sneak peek at today’s emergency cover up with @babyleif2.0. Bye bye Drake, hello to the goat Kendrick Lamar.”
In another post showing the process of completing the cover up, Studio Thirteen wrote, “Have a tattoo you regret? Leif is a rework and cover up wizard.”
The viral tattoo comes after Kendrick held his The Pop Out: Ken And Friends concert in Inglewood, Ca., last month. Shortly afterward, he dropped the official video for his top-charting diss track, “Not Like Us” on July 4.
Drake has been laying pretty low since Kendrick has been receiving positive reception for his latest tracks aimed at the Toronto icon.
Most recently, he was spotted attending Michael Rubin’s annual all-white party in the Hamptons where he flicked it up with Rubin, GloRilla, and more.
According to TMZ, no Kendrick Lamar music was played all night in Drake’s presence. Others in attendance included, Quavo, Lil Wayne, Travis Scott, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Tom Brady, Megan Thee Stallion, Lala Anthony, and more.
