Everyone Who Endorsed VP Kamala Harris For President So Far
Kamala Harris has stepped in to lead the Democratic party against Donald Trump after President Joe Biden bowed out of the race. As the news hit the internet on Sunday (July 21), waves of support for Harris arrived after initial panic subsided. And it all began with President Biden’s statements announcing that he would be retiring his campaign and endorsing Harris.
“My fellow Democrats, I have decided not to accept the nomination and to focus all my energies on my duties as President for the remainder of my term,” President Biden expressed. “My very first decision as the party nominee in 2020 was to pick Kamala Harris as my Vice President. And it’s been the best decision I’ve made. Today I want to offer my full support and endorsement for Kamala to be the nominee of our party this year. Democrats—it’s time to come together and beat Trump.”
Since then, other politicians, groups, and celebrities have come forward with vocal and/or financial backing in favor of VP Kamala Harris as their Democratic nominee. To date, over 200 politicians have spoken in favor of Harris taking over the Democratic ticket. So, our list represents just a microcosm of what’s happening in the political sphere and beyond. That said, here is a list of people who have already thrown their support behind Harris.
