Eminem’s Daughter Hailie Jade Gives Birth To First Child, Named After Rapper

Eminem is officially a grandfather. The rapper’s daughter, Hailie Jade Scott, revealed she gave birth to her first child, Elliot Marshall McClintock, on March 14, 2025, in an Instagram upload on Friday (April 4). In the caption, she explained that her son prematurely arrived, and the image was shared on his actual due date.

“Happy due date//3 weeks earthside little e,” wrote the 29-year-old. In the first image of the carousel upload, the infant is wearing a knitted baby blue hooded with his eyes wide open. The second image shows the newborn looking away.

The news was first announced by Hailie Jade, her husband Evan McClintock, and the Detroit rapper on social media last year in a series of maternity-style images. The Grammy-winning musician also revealed the news in his “Temporary” music video featuring Skylar Grey, released in October 2024.

In the music video, Eminem incorporated touching video footage of him and Haliie Jade, a clip of the new mom gifting him a Detroit Lions football jersey with “Grandpa” embroidered on the back, and sonogram images.

In “Temporary,” the 52-year-old depicted a future where he has passed away, encouraging his daughter to not dwell in grief but to move forward and live her life.

“Yeah, between that and ‘Temporary’ […] I can’t. I audibly sobbed, I think for both songs, but especially ‘Temporary,’” explained Hailie Jade of the track and an additional heavy song “Somebody Save Me” on her Just A Little Shady podcast.

“Now, as an adult in hindsight, it’s so scary to think about,” she continued, “And I think that’s why I get emotional so much. Just thinking that [Eminem dying] could have happened.” Watch the podcast below.
