Drake Refrains From Saying “F**k Kendrick” And Mocks “Euphoria” Line On Drizzmas Livestream
Drake’s holiday spirit came with a side of shade as his ongoing rivalry with Kendrick Lamar peaked through during his “Drizzmas” giveaway livestream with Adin Ross. Held last night (Dec. 26), Drizzy gave back to his fans in a major way, while also letting it be known that all of the smoke with K. Dot hasn’t cleared.
While donating cash and luxury gifts to viewers, Drizzy couldn’t resist mocking one of Kendrick’s bars from their diss-track exchange earlier this year. Reflecting on his camaraderie with Sexyy Red, Drake quipped: “When I see her, I see two bad ones, ni**a. What’s up? [laughs] F**k what y’all talmbout.”
The playful jab directly referenced a line from Kendrick’s track “Euphoria,” where he raps: “When I see you stand by Sexyy Red, I believe you see two bad bi**hes.”
Drake also took another jab at the Compton emcee while reading a fan’s letter during the stream.
The fan shared their desire for a dream honeymoon in Australia to catch Drake’s upcoming Anna Max Win Tour. As the Toronto star read it out loud, he cut it short when he got to the concluding line: “And it’s always f**k Ken-.”
Drake abruptly said with a smirk, “Oh, I am not reading that.”
Earlier this year, during a stream with xQc following Kendrick’s GNX album release, Drake fired back at the Compton rapper’s salacious diss tracks. “I’m here — mind, body, and soul fully intact, in case you were wondering,” he said. “You need facts to take me out; fairytales won’t do it.”
Drake’s response seemingly addressed the wild allegations Kendrick aired in his songs, which included claims of dealing with underaged girls and more.
In “Not Like Us,” Kenny raps: “Certified Lover Boy?/ Certified pedophile.”
Despite their beef, the “Drizzmas” stream brought joy to his fans, but it’s clear that the energy between Drake and Kendrick is still hovering.
