Danity Kane Announces Mysterious “Untold Chapter” Tour With Three Group Members
Danity Kane has revealed dates for a collection of reunion performances with cryptic messaging. On social media, the group announced The Untold Chapter Tour, highlighting the silhouettes of three group members on the flyer. In the caption, Danity Kane promises “a reckoning” and hints at the concert being a place for “confessions revealed.”
Danity Kane originally consisted of Aubrey O’Day, Shannon Bex, D. Woods, Dawn Richard, and Aundrea Fimbres, until Woods left in 2008 and Fimbres in 2014. Their last album, DK3, was released in 2014 with O’Day, Richard, and Bex. Most recently, the group released the single “New Kings” in 2020. The girls were united during the third iteration of MTV’s Making the Band and signed to Bad Boy Records by Sean “Diddy” Combs.

The tour announcement comes after Combs was found guilty of transporting men across state lines for the purpose of prostitution, and acquitted of racketeering and sex trafficking charges. Dawn Richard, Aubrey O’Day, and D. Woods all spoke out against the disgraced mogul’s alleged behavior toward them, with Richard even filing a civil suit. Richard also testified at the criminal trial.
In the suit filed by Richard, she alleged she was a victim of sexual and physical abuse, as well as inhumane treatment, at the hands of Combs. The Harlem native’s legal team claimed her allegations were “completely false” and asked a judge to dismiss the case entirely.
In 2023, ahead of the public fallout, Diddy moved to return the music publishing rights to various artists who were once signed to Bad Boy Records. O’Day claimed that to receive the catalogue, however, artists she was instructed to “have to sign an NDA that I will never disparage Puff, Bad Boy, Janice Combs, Justin Combs Music, EMI, or Sony ever in public,” and added that two members of Danity Kane did not sign.

“The world has heard the music. The world has seen the headlines. But the truth… has never been told,” teased the lengthy tour announcement.
“Now, in a moment that no one saw coming, three voices from one of the most iconic girl groups of the 21st century are stepping back onto the stage together. Which three? That’s the mystery. And it’s part of the fire that has fans and critics buzzing: who will it be, and what will they reveal?”
The group continued to detail, “The Untold Chapter Tour isn’t just a concert. It’s a reckoning. It’s the truth behind the story. It’s the reunion that no one thought possible. With setlists reshaped, confessions revealed, and moments that will never happen the same way twice, this tour promises to leave audiences shaken, inspired, and forever changed.”
While the three performing members have not been announced, Richards has already confirmed that she is not a part of the nostalgic effort. Earlier this month, a fan shared the tour flyer and excitedly wrote, “looks like Danity Kane is about to ride again!!! But which 3??”
From her verified account, the New Orleans-bred musician responded, “I am not apart of this. I have not heard about it nor knew about it. sending everyone love,” with the brown heart hands emoji.
