Chris Brown Reflects On Unnamed Rapper’s Absurd Club Rant, Fans Speculate It Was Ye
After Chris Brown recalled an awkward club moment where an unnamed rapper’s rant cleared the women from his section, fans speculated the speaker to be Ye, with what they belive is video evidence.
Speaking with Tank and J. Valentine on the R&B Money podcast, the Virginia native participated in the “I Ain’t Sayin’ No Names” game, where he was challenged to tell a “funny or f**ked up” story without naming anyone.
Brown then reflected on a night when his planned club outing ended early.
“There was this artist and [they] wanted to go out to the club with us … Huge artist. I’m like, ‘Alright, cool. Meet me at the crib, we gonna go to the club.’ It’s Ni**a Night, it’s turn-up night. [There’s] gonna be another artist in there performing, and that artist’s song was the number one song in the country,” he detailed, per Complex.
He continued, “We get in the club, I make sure we got the whole section full of women. The person there, [he’s] looking around. The song come[s] on, the other artist is onstage, starts singing the song, the whole building erupt[s],” adding “I look over to this person…not a smirk, not a head nod. Nothing.”
The “Forever” singer then remembers the unnamed artist going to the DJ booth and grabbing the mic. Anticipating that the musician was going to perform, things took a turn.
“The ni**a goes on a 45-minute rant. I’m talking about talking, I’m talking about saying all of everything about nothing. It’s so disappointing. When I was in there I started looking around. The club [went from] being a ‘Yeah, everybody turning up, maybe we holler at some girls, what’s up’—it went from that to looking like the waiting room in hell.”
He continued to detail, “The last thing I hear, ‘Such and such ain’t stick their finger in my booty. I don’t even play that way,’” before describing his exit.
As the clip circulated on social media, a fan uploaded a clip recorded in 2016 at the club 1 OAK in Los Angeles, per HipHopDX.
In the clip, Ye, who was then still recognized as Kanye West, yells at the audience “And my wife got Amber back to make an apology. That bi**h ain’t never stick her fingers in my a**! I don’t play like that!” referring to a social media claim made by the model.

Elsewhere in the R&B Money podcast, the 34-year-old discussed his extensive catalog and work ethic, with appreciation from the two hosts.
“You master something that you spend more than 100 hours on, so I try to overly master it,” Brown explained. “Me being in the studio, I might have an idea or I might hear some song and I’m like ‘I need to get on my game’ […] If you don’t sharpen the tool, it ain’t gonna work. Me being in the studio is where I live.”
