Cam’ron Accused Of Intentionally “Violating,” “Exploiting” Adrien Broner To Go Viral

Adrien Broner‘s controversial appearance on Cam’ron’s It Is What It Is show has stirred widespread backlash. Fans and close allies are accusing the Harlem rapper of exploiting the former boxing champ’s impaired state for views before ultimately kicking him off the set.

The segment, which took place during fight weekend at the Fontainebleau Hotel in Las Vegas, has ignited heated debate across media platforms.

Broner, who appeared visibly intoxicated during the taping, was asked to leave the set after repeatedly flirting with co-host Treasure Wilson. While some applauded Cam’ron for eventually removing him from the show, others are calling foul on what they see as a calculated setup.

Blue Blood Sports TV, a well-known boxing commentator and friend of Broner, voiced his concerns during a call-in appearance on MRECK TV. Blue took particular issue with Cam publicly branding Broner as an alcoholic and a junkie following the interview, despite voicing his love for the former champ while in his presence.

“AB is like my brother,” Blue said. “I’ve done business with AB, he’s a good dude.” Describing Broner’s condition at the time, he added, “He got a woman on one side and a dude on the other side [holding him up]. So we’re just thinking he’s sauced. He’s zooted. He ain’t even present at all… he’s spaced out.”

According to Blue, it was obvious to everyone nearby that Broner was out of it.

“Reck said, ‘Damn, they need to take homie back to his room.’ I went to say something to him, the dude that was with him was like, ‘Nah, he good.’ It took him a good 10 seconds to even register that I was standing face to face with him.”

Blue continued, “Then once he came to his senses, he started shaking everybody hand, but he can’t even look at everybody because he’s so spaced out. He don’t even know where he at.”

While Blue didn’t take issue with Broner being removed after making inappropriate remarks, he strongly condemned what happened before and after the taping.

“For Cam to see him like that and then try to exploit him is corny as hell,” Blue said. “That’s sucka sh*t. You know [and] see what type of time he on. How you expect him to be, he don’t know what’s going on, you ask him to come do an interview.”

He revealed that he was told that Broner wasn’t even aware an interview was happening.

“They was like, ‘He ain’t even know they were coming to do no interview or nothing. He thought that Cam was just trying to kick it with him. And Cam take him in there, but he had an agenda, which is corny as hell.”

Blue didn’t hold back when addressing what he saw as a betrayal. “How you gonna say publicly this dude is your brother and you see the state that he in and you say to yourself, ‘Let me exploit this dude real quick for my entertainment. To entertain the people.’”

He concluded with a scathing comparison. “That just shows you what type of person Cam is… If I can sit there and say, ‘You’re my brother,’ and then exploit you at your lowest point? And then when I feel disrespected or somebody around us feels disrespected, I kick you out [and talk bad about you]. That’s nasty work. That’s super foul.”
