Bow Wow And Monica’s Daughters Follow In Parents’ Footsteps With “It Depends” Dance Challenge: Watch
Bow Wow and Joie Chavis‘ daughter, Shai’s friendship with Monica and Shannon Brown‘s daughter, Laiyah, is so wholesome to witness.
Shai, 14, and Laiyah, 11, recently linked up when Breezy Bowl stopped in Miami and shut down the latest dance craze taking over TikTok featuring Chris Brown and Bryson Tiller’s “It Depends.”
Accompanied by Breezy’s actual dancers, the two girls stood front and center in nearly identical fits making their parents proud with their flawless execution.
Chavis commented on Instagram, “Without meeeeee but yall ate!!!! [heart eyes emoji].”
Fans also praised the young girls. “WHAT DID I JUST WATCH? 5x to be exact! Those young ladies are SOME SERIOUS YOUNG LADIES… WORLD WATCH OUT. Fearless Smart Beautiful and Talented. [fire emojis] Great job Parents!!!!” one person replied.
Others can’t wait to see Shai and Laiyah on the road with Blue Ivy in the future. Speaking on the latter, both girls attended Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter tour together and even filmed a fit check plus another video of them dancing to trending TikTok audio.
Shai opted for the Canadian tuxedo look while Laiyah rocked a more western-themed look. Shai has been following in her parents’ footsteps, having made her acting debut on Nickelodeon’s Side Hustle in 2021. She later starred in A Screenshot to Santa.
Bow has admitted that acting may take a backseat for now, but will always support her endeavors. “It was a lot for her,” he told Baller Alert in a 2023 interview. However, he did explain to Shai, “I’m like, ‘Listen, you know you’re not forced to do this. You can catch on to this later in life. Go to school, be a kid, and have your fun, because those are the things that I didn’t have.’”
Laiyah has also revealed that she has dreams of being an actress, model, and gymnast.
