Bossman Dlow Shows How To Boss Up Your Life At 2024 BET Hip Hop Awards

Bossman Dlow had the second performance of the night at the 2024 BET Hip Hop Awards — following host Fat Joe — and he lived up to the bill. The 26-year-old rapper showed fans how to boss up their lives by performing two of his most popular records.

The Port Salerno, Fla. rapper began his set with “Shake Dat A** (Twerk Song)” while flanked by two women dancers as he sat on top a couch in Drai’s Nightclub section. Eventually, he transitioned to the stage, where more dancers joined him and did as the song’s title told them to.

Later on, the women helped him take his coat off for his hit song “Get In With Me.” It was clear how much the song resonated with the culture, as the camera panned to attendees singing the track word-for-word, including Joey Crack himself. Check out the hype performance below.

Bossman Dlow’s performance capped off what has been a major year for him. He was nominated for Best New Artist at the 2024 BET Hip Hop Awards and also made the 2024 XXL Freshman Class alongside 4Batz, BigXThaPlug, ScarLip, Cash Cobain, and more. In March, he released his latest, LP Mr. Beat The Road, highlighted by hit single “Get In With Me.” The album also included tracks like “Mr. Pot Scraper,” “Come Here” featuring Sexyy Red, and “Talk My Sh*t.”

The Florida rapper recently appeared on GloRilla’s Glorious, delivering his catchy and humorous bars on the track “Step” just seven months after their initial collaboration “Finesse.” He also linked up with Lil Baby in July for “PJ” and Trae The Truth in June for “I Can’t Wait.”

It feels like Dlow can’t miss and given his momentum, it is only a matter of time before bigger collaborations and looks start rolling in. There’s arguably no better example of how to boss one’s life up among the rookies.
