The lawsuit was initially filed in December 2023 after Hernandez became collateral damage when Blueface mentioned her in a back-and-forth with Soulja Boy on social media. In the argument, sparked by Blueface’s belief that he would beat Soulja Boy in a Verzuz battle, both rappers threatened physical violence.

The “Pretty Boy Swag” rapper shared the news of the default judgement on Instagram writing, “Send that money boy you balling you got it right?”

Currently, Soulja Boy, legal name DeAndre Cortez Way, has his own legal troubles to worry about, however. Earlier this week, the 34-year-old took the stand to defend himself against allegations that he assaulted, raped, and imprisoned a woman who once lived with him as his alleged personal assistant.

“I asked her if she wanted to have sex, and she was engaged in it,” he testified. “She didn’t push me or say stop, nothing like that.”

The lawsuit, filed by a Jane Doe accuser, alleged that Way first raped her in a bathroom during a police raid in February 2019. She also claimed he then subjected her to physical and emotional torment throughout their relationship, acknowledging periods of consensual intimacy.
