Beyoncé Rumored To Appear At Kamala Harris Rally In Houston

Beyoncé is rumored to appear at Vice President Kamala Harris‘ Houston rally. The Washington Post reports that the Grammy award-winning artist will make an appearance at the Friday (Oct. 25) event alongside country star and Texas legend, Willie Nelson. Sources close to the campaign stated that Bey’s presence will ensure that Harris and Tim Walz’s bid for presidency closes out the 2024 rally season with a bang.

Queen Bey was previously rumored to appear at one of Harris’ rallies before. In August, ahead of the Democratic National Convention, rumors of Bey popping out for the event began swirling online. The rumors started up after Harris used Beyoncé’s “Freedom” during her first presidential campaign speech.

From there, the Harris’ campaign used it again in one of the politician’s first official commercials for her bid, soundtracked to pictures and clips of Black women and other minorities caring for their communities. The rumors hit a boiling point after TMZ confirmed reports that Bey would be a “special guest” at the DNC event in Chicago. However, producers for the event later debunked the rumors, labeling it as nothing more than “gossip.”

“We never put out anything about Beyoncé. We denied it every time the media asked us — even though, by the way, people on my staff didn’t believe me,” Ricky Kirshner, the DNC’s detailed producer, told The Hollywood Reporter. “I kept getting texts from news organizations saying, ‘When is Beyoncé coming out?’ But come on, we have the biggest star, the Democratic nominee for president. Why would we overshadow that?”

“This is the internet taking on a life of its own and people taking something as fact — literally to the point that people in my booth are saying, ‘Is she coming? You can tell me.’ And I would say, ‘I have no knowledge she’s coming.’ And they would say, ‘No knowledge? So there’s something to know!’ It was pretty crazy. But she wasn’t coming. In the end, even TMZ [which first reported it] had to issue an apology,” producer Glen Weiss said about the Bey hysteria.

Well, with the election a little under a week away, this is a perfect time to bring out Queen Bey to reenergize voters. But, we shall see!
