50 Cent Won’t Be Performing At The 2024 Republican National Convention

Despite his recent attendance at a Trump rally and contrary to a slew of rumors, 50 Cent will reportedly not be attending the 2024 Republican National Convention.

According to TMZ, a representative for Fif told the outlet, “He is not attending [the RNC], as he is slated to be in Shreveport preparing for his Humor and Harmony festival.” Reports surfaced about the rapper’s alleged plan to perform during the Republican National Convention after a meme of Donald Trump on his Get Rich or Die Tryin’ album cover after being shot at began to spread.

50 reposted the doctored image in a since-deleted post and captioned it, “Trump gets shot and now I’m trending.”

After news of Trump’s shooting came to light, 50 performed his hit record “Many Men” at a concert with the meme on a screen in the background.

Amber Rose is currently catching flack over her endorsement speech at the convention.

The mother of two backed Trump and expressed, “I realized Donald Trump and his supporters don’t care if you’re Black, white, gay or straight, it’s all love, and that’s when it hit me— these are my people. This is where I belong. So, I let go of my fear of judgment, of being misunderstood, of getting attacked by the left, and I put the red hat on, too.”

Many people including national correspondent Joy Reid criticized Rose and her speech.

“She won’t even claim the culture that brought her to the table,” Reid stated. “I don’t wanna say she’s Black because she has said she’s not, so I don’t wanna say this Black woman. This woman who is of whatever race that she has claimed, she’s said she’s not Black, but they’ve brought somebody whose whole career is based in Black culture. She used to be on a show on BET. That’s the reason most people know who she is.”
