50 Cent Seemingly Accuses Big Meech Of Being A “Rat,” Threatens To Expose Him
50 Cent has seemingly waged war against Black Mafia Family cofounder Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory. He is accusing the former kingpin of being a government informant amid Flenory’s public alliance with Rick Ross.
On Monday (Feb. 3), the 49-year-old took to social media to hint at a possible documentary involving Tammy Cowins, a known federal informant and a producer of the hit Starz show, BMF.
“The biggest mistake he ever made was not sustaining his relationship with ( Tammy Cowin ) her tell all Docu reveals the truth,” Fif captioned the post, which was accompanied by a photo of a rodent.
In addition, the photo includes text that reads “I think I’m Big Meech,” a reference to Rick Ross’ hit 2010 single, “B.M.F. (Blowin’ Money Fast),” inspired by Flenory’s exploits during his drug organization’s iconic reign.
However, the photo could also be interpreted as the rat being symbolic of Rick Ross, who previously came under fire for working as a correctional officer prior to his rap career.
The G-Unit founder’s seeming attack of Flenory’s street credibility comes in response to him appearing in a video clip alongside Fif’s rival, Rick Ross, while promoting a “Welome Back” concert celebrating Flenory’s release from prison.
The event, which is scheduled for Feb. 13 and will be hosted by Meech himself, is billed to include a set of Rozay performing “B.M.F.” live for Flenory for the first time. Additional acts said to appear include Lil Baby, 21 Savage, Sexyy Red, Moneybagg Yo, 42 Dugg, Kodak Black, Est Gee, Tee Grizzley, Boosie, and more.
It’s been alleged by Dionne “Cuffy” Gatling, a former associate of Flenory, that Cowins’ cooperation led to him being convicted on drug charges, and that Big Meech possibly had knowledge of Cowins’ dealings with the federal government.
Furthermore, others have argued that Flenory may have possibly been involved in “third-party cooperation” for his own self-gain during his incarceration.
However, no documents proving those theories have yet to surface or be produced, leaving the true nature of Flenory’s dealings with Cowins to speculation.
On Tuesday morning (Feb. 4), rumors surfaced that Lil Baby and other artists set to perform at the Big Meech “Welcome Back” concert had cancelled due to the “snitching” allegations swirling around him.
50 Cent would then drag Lil Baby into the drama, accusing associates close to Flenory of lambasting the Atlanta rapper not presenting him with gifts or cash upon meeting him following his release from prison in 2024.
“The funny sh*t is they was saying @lilbaby pulled up on them in a Ferrari truck pockets full of money, and didn’t give them nothing,” the Queens native wrote.
He continued, declaring that Lil Baby is in no debt to Flenory and not required to compensate or reward him in any manner.
“Lil Baby was 5 when you got indicted WTF he owe you?” he added, again warning of a possible documentary project involving Cowins.
The sudden rift between 50 Cent and Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory comes as a surprise to most familiar with the two, as Fif is an executive producer of BMF, the series based on Flenory and his brother, Terry “Southwest T” Flenory’s, life.
Lil Meech, Flenory’s son, and others have credited the rapper with handpicking him to take on the role of playing his father, even paying for Lil Meech’s acting classes in preparation for the role.
These questions have led some to question Flenory’s seeming show of disloyalty to 50 Cent by associating with Rick Ross, a known nemesis of Fif dating back nearly three decades.
Others have reasoned that Big Meech has had longstanding relationships with both 50 Cent and Rick Ross and shouldn’t be forced to choose sides due to his prior lack of involvement in their disagreements.
Yet, 50 Cent has already threatened that the next season of BMF will be its last, a sign that Fif’s relationship with the Flenory family may be beyond repairable.
