50 Cent Confirms Altercation Went Down With Trey Songz And Terence Crawford

50 Cent has confirmed what many were already speculating — that a confrontation indeed took place between boxing champion Terence “Bud” Crawford and R&B singer Trey Songz.

With an Instagram repost of our VIBE article about the alleged incident, 50 captioned the post, “This is true, Trey ain’t no sucker he will fight anybody, I just saw it was Bud and said, this [ninja emoji] could beat up everybody here if we jumped him. you dumb mother f**ker what you want to fight him for. The R&B [ninja emoji] gotta go! LOL”

One user even joked that Trey, “Sung his way to an ass whooping?” See below.

50’s revelation comes after Crawford appeared on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast, where he opened up about the awkward moment that almost turned physical. According to the athlete, the incident unfolded during the 2022 Tycoon Weekend, where Songz — allegedly intoxicated and acting erratically — set the stage for what could have been a major altercation.

Crawford, an undefeated multi-division champion, recalled being taken aback by the singer’s sudden aggression, which made him question whether Trey was genuinely looking for trouble or just caught in a drunken moment.

“I don’t know if dude was drunk or something but he just started tripping,” he recalled. “He was like, ‘I don’t care if you the world champion.’ I’m like, ‘Is he serious?’” Further explaining how he restrained himself from putting hands on the R&B crooner, he recalled in the moment thinking, “I wanna choke you, I don’t even wanna punch you.”

When the tension started to escalate further, it took 50 Cent himself to swoop in and prevent a full-blown fight. As Crawford recalled with a laugh, 50 came over and said, “Woaaaah. Hold up, man. T, don’t f**k up the bag on this ni**a.” During a formal dinner later that night, Fif took to the mic and attempted to lighten the mood, saying, “We got Bud about to beat up Trey Songz.”
