D4vd Allegedly Spotted With Dead Teen In Resurfaced Video

A video clip of D4vd allegedly on a live stream with the teenager who was found dead in his car has resurfaced. According to TMZ, the footage was recorded in January 2024 and shows the singer and Celeste Rivas answering questions submitted by fans. In the clip published by the tabloid, D4vd, legal name David Anthony Burke, sits next to a girl, presumed to be Rivas, as she directs him to respond to a specific comment.
The video comes as the investigation into the death of Rivas unfolds. ABC 7 reported that on Thursday (Sept. 18), a search warrant was executed at the home in the Hollywood Hills that was occupied by Burke, in connection with the horrific discovery of Rivas decomposed, dismembered body.
“Several items of evidence were recovered and will be analyzed by detectives in the coming days,” detailed the Los Angeles Police Department in a statement according to the news outlet. “This is an ongoing investigation. Investigators are following up on several leads.”

Rivas body was discovered in the trunk of Burke’s Tesla earlier this month after the abandoned car was impounded. The county medical examiner confirmed the decomposed body to be the 15-year-old victim, yet a cause of death has not been named and a homicide has not been declared. The teenager had been missing since April 2024.
A spokesperson for the viral singer explained that he “has been informed about what’s happened, and although he is still out on tour, he is fully cooperating with the authorities,” at the time.
Since the gruesome discovery, various instances allegedly tying the 20-year-old musician to the adolescent have been uncovered across social media, including an unreleased track titled “Celeste” supposedly recorded by Burke and leaked in December 2023. Additionally, multiple online accounts have shared “evidence” of the connection.
Burke has also taken a hit professionally, as artists and brands have moved to distance themselves from the Houston-bred talent. After the news broke, he was dropped from an advertising campaign by Crocs and Hollister. Celebrities including Tyler, the Creator, Daniel Caesar, and Ice Spice have reportedly unfollowed Burke on social media. Kali Uchis has also claimed to be working on deleting the song “Crashing,” which she and Burke collaborated on for his debut album.
“Not my friend, I did a song with him which is currently in the process of being taken down given today’s disturbing news,” she declared.
VIBE has contacted representatives for D4vd for a statement, and a response had not yet been received at the time of publication.
