China Walker, Member Of Viral Twin Rap Duo Cam & China, Dead At 30

China Walker, one half of the rising rap duo Cam & China, has tragically passed away following a private, two-year battle with a rare and aggressive form of ovarian cancer. She was just 30 years old.

On Wednesday (July 2), China’s identical twin sister and groupmate, Cam Walker, took to Instagram to share the heartbreaking news alongside a photo of her holding China’s hand — a tender image believed to be taken during her final moments.

“Most don’t know, China has been fighting a rare aggressive Ovarian Cancer for 2 years,” Cam wrote. “Tonight, she transitioned and is now resting peacefully. Give me time to grieve in peace, but know she loved all our supporters.”

Cam also offered a somber reminder to her followers about the importance of checking in with loved ones, stating, “Check on yo people, you never know what they are going thru until it’s too late.”

Hailing from Inglewood, Calif., Cam & China began building buzz in 2016 with the release of their self-titled EP, which showcased their sharp lyricism and undeniable chemistry. The duo rose to social media fame through viral freestyles over popular instrumentals, earning widespread praise from fans and industry insiders alike.

With over 216,000 Instagram followers and reels amassing millions of views — including one video that reached 3.2 million views alone — Cam & China had become known as one of the most promising acts in West Coast Hip-Hop.

Their growing recognition also led to coverage in Rolling Stone, a standout On The Radar freestyle, and a notable appearance in season two of HBO Max’s Rap Sh*t.
